Donn Mitchell

Donn Mitchell has over 25 years of experience in the casino gaming resort industry. Prior to joining Foundation Gaming in 2018 as a Principal and the Chief Financial Officer, Donn worked with Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. for 21 years from 1996 until the company was acquired by Eldorado Resorts, Inc. in 2017.

While with Isle of Capri, Donn served in several senior level executive roles including Chief Financial Officer, Sr. Vice President and Managing Director of United Kingdom Operations and Chief Administrative Officer. In these roles and as a member of the senior executive team, Donn worked directly with the Board of Directors, senior executives, and other Isle team members to develop and implement the strategic and financial direction of the company.

Donn was integral in arranging multiple debt agreements for the Isle including a $1 billion Senior Credit Facility; implementing centralized purchasing across 14 casino resort properties; and passing favorable gaming legislation in various regional markets.

Specifically, Donn has a diverse background including overseeing property and corporate accounting and finance, budgeting, strategic planning, centralized procurement, multi-property international gaming operations, development and acquisitions, government affairs, human resources and public relations.

Prior to joining Isle of Capri Casinos, Donn was a certified public accountant and Audit Manager with Arthur Andersen, LLP in New Orleans, LA and worked primarily on casino gaming industry client engagements. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Mississippi. Donn has been licensed or found suitable in Mississippi, Louisiana, Colorado, Missouri, Iowa, Florida, the United Kingdom, and the Bahamas.
