Allan Solomon has more than three decades of regional gaming experience. An original member of the Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. executive team since its inception in 1992, Allan served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the company until 2008, He also served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the company from June 1992 through October 1993, and was a member of the board of directors and company secretary from June 1992 through July 2003. He played an instrumental role in legal affairs, legislative matters, new jurisdiction expansion and investor relations, helping grow the company into one of the leading regional gaming operators.
Prior to joining Isle of Capri Casinos Allan Solomon was a partner in Broad and Cassel a multi-office Florida-based law firm. He also served as executive vice president of a New York Stock Exchange company, senior advisor to the Treasury Transition Team of the Reagan administration, and senior partner in charge of the corporate and tax departments for a 90-person multi-state law firm.
Allan received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Boston College. He was awarded a master of law in taxation from New York University. He is a member of the Florida Kentucky and Massachusetts Bar Associations and is admitted to the U.S. Court of Claims U.S. Tax Court and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Allan has served as president of the Florida Association of Jewish Federations, president of the South Palm Beach County Jewish Federation and as a vice president of the Council of Jewish Federations. In 2022 Allan was inducted in Mississippi Gaming Hall of Fame.
